Northern Tier Sports ReportHERSHEY — Sullivan County’s Colton Wade had made a habit of pulling out some close matches at the PIAA Wrestling Championships this week. That continued on Saturday with a 2-0 sudden victory over United’s Josef Garshnick in the seventh place match for 114 pounds.
After both wrestlers had ride-outs to keep it 0-0, Wade scored the winning takedown in overtime to get the victory.
He finishes as the lone wrestler from the North Section to claim a state medal this year.
