Northern Tier Sports ReportATHENS — The Troy 5th-grade team captured the title here Sunday, March 12 at the Girls Northern Tier Youth Basketball League “Queen of the Court” season-ending 5th grade tournament.
The 5th grade tournament saw five youth basketball programs – Athens, Sayre, Towanda, Troy and Wyalusing – compete in a round robin followed by a single-elimination tournament on the day.
The tournament marked a successful and fun end of the NTL Youth Season for the year.

CHAMPIONS: Troy Trojans
Second Place: Towanda Black Knights
Third Place: Athens Wildcats
Fourth Place: Wyalusing Rams
