TROY — After a 3-week hiatus Pennsylvania high school sports teams were back to practice Monday, which included the Troy girls’ basketball team.
“We’ve only had four practices, but I’ve seen a lot more enthusiasm,†said Troy girls’ basketball coach Marshall McNeal. “That’s still there, and they want to succeed. That’s still there, and that’s good. The motivations are there.â€
The Lady Trojans have over a dozen players this year, up from last year’s eight, and McNeal likes what he’s seen from them.
“I’ve seen hustle, determination, commitment, willing too learn,†he said.
Troy will have to be road warriors, though, as four of the first five scheduled games are on the road, when they officially tip-off next week.
