
MANSFIELD — Troy Junior High Boys’ basketball got off to a hot start in summer league with back to back wins this past weekend.
In the first game Troy beat Galeton 52-23, then turned around and ran past NP-Liberty, 81-23, in their follow-up contest.
In the NPL game Joey Lackey led the way with 29 points, while Spencer Martin finished with 24. Landen Cole added 14, Parker Brown netted 10, and Eli Ayers notched four.
In the Galeton game Lackey finished with 24 points to lead Troy, while Martin netted 11. Cole added nine, Evan Allen notched four, with Ayers and Wyatt Berry scoring two points each.
