AOW: NEB'S HERB, TROY'S SMITH HAVE BIG WEEKS IN POSTSEASON ACTION (2023-11-12)

As fall sports wind down the performances get bigger and bigger and for area teams.

This week’s top Male Athlete is Troy’s Mason Smith. Smith had a punt return for a touchdown to kick off the Trojan scoring against Line Mountain, while also running the ball four times for 33 yards and hauling in a 16-yard catch that set up their field goal.

This week’s top Female Athlete is NEB’s Toni Herb. Herb had a team leading eight kills to go with four digs in the Panthers’ state match against Holy Redeemer this week.
