SAYRE — Northeast Bradford jumped out to a 14-4 first quarter lead in their 48-17 over Sayre during NTL Division-II girls’ basketball action Tuesday.
It was a balanced effort from the Panthers as three different players had 10 points - Lani Thomas, Leah Beebe, and Emma Neuber.
Lillie Maynard and Becca VandeMark had seven points apiece, Lilah Hughes netted three, and Mallorie Maynard scored one.
NEB finished with seven 3-balls on the day, hitting four of them in the first quarter. Beebe had two with Neuber and Lillie Maynard each netting one.
They added 18 more points in the second behind eight from Thomas while Beebe and VandeMark scored four points apiece, pushing their lead to 32-9 at the break.
NEB out scored Sayre 16-8 in the second half behind seven points from Neuber.
NEB (3-3) will be in action on December 28 when they host Tunkhannock.
