Northern Tier Sports ReportWYALUSING — Wyalusing softball took on the defending district champions, South Williamsport, and lost 14-1 in five innings Saturday.
They got their lone run in the third as Emily Johns scored on a Kylie Pickett hit.
Treanna Nickeson (3-for-3) led the team with a perfect day at the plate while Pickett (2-for-3) also had a multi-hit day.
Addison Bly (1-for-3) and Johns (1-for-1) had the other hits.
Addison Fluck took the loss, striking out eight with three walks, 14 hits, and 14 runs scored.
Wyalusing (0-3) will travel to Wellsboro on Tuesday.
