A big slate of games today with several teams still battling for playoff positioning.

SOFTBALL

CV (16-3) at Troy (14-2), 4:30 p.m.: This will likely decide the third seed in the Class AA playoffs. CV is on a 2-game losing streak while Troy is on a 2-game win streak.


NEB (11-7) at Wellsboro (4-13), 4:30 p.m.: The Panthers jumped up into the sixth seed for the district playoffs and a win here would help them keep it.


Canton (4-14) at Athens (11-7), 4:30 p.m.: Athens has a shot at a home playoff game if they can win out while Canton will be looking to play spoiler.


Sayre (3-12) at Towanda (10-8), 4:30 p.m.: Towanda recently clinched a playoff spot and has a chance to move up a spot or two if they can win their last two games.


BASEBALL

NEB (11-6) at Wellsboro (6-11), 4:30 p.m.: The Panthers are battling for the top seed in Class A, and a win here might be enough to move them into first.


CV (9-10) at Troy (14-4), 4:30 p.m.: CV is playing for their playoff lives, while a win by Troy likely solidifies their the second seed for them.


Canton (14-5) at Athens (8-11), 4:30 p.m.: Athens lost to Edison so they are eliminated from playoff contention. Canton is currently fifth in the Class AA standings, so a win is a must if they’re going to get back into the top four.


Sayre (5-11) at Towanda (5-12), 4:30 p.m.: The only game that doesn’t have playoff implications, though the Knights are looking to finish the season strong.
