LOCK HAVEN — The Troy boys’ cross-country team took sixth at the Bear Mountain River Run on Saturday.
The Trojans finished with 168 points as Hughesville (53) pulled away for the win.
Frank Harper (17:58.30) led Troy with a 24th place finish with Evan Geer (18:10.30) taking 26th. RJ Bellinger (19:01) was 43rd, Owen Campbell (20:38.9) came in 68th, and Cooper Kellogg (20:49.1) rounded out the top five in 72nd.
On the girls’ side Alyssa Parks (20:35.6) took eighth overall. Kalynn Keltz (30:51.4) was 70th, with Sheridan Wilcox (31:13.9) coming in 72nd.
In junior high girls’ action Troy was fourth with 115 points with Williamsport (54) winning. Christine Ward (14:38.4) and Anika White (14:45.6) were 18th and 19th to lead the Trojans.
The Troy boys were third with 73 points behind Kyle Kibbe’s sixth place finish in 12:49.3.
Troy travels to NP-Mansfield on Tuesday for their first dual meet of the season.
