Northern Tier Sports ReportMANSFIELD — Towanda took third during the NTL golf match at Corey Creek on Tuesday.
The Knights finished with 343 strokes, behind Athens (317) and hosts NP-Mansfield (333). Wyalusing (363) was fourth, CV (405) took fifth, Wellsboro (413) came in sixth, and Sayre (567) was seventh.
Four Knights broke 90, led by Graham Welles’ 82. Owen Savercool shot 86, Boom Thompson carded an 87, and Baylee Clark notched an 88.
Savercool had a birdie on the long par-3 eighth hole, with Clark notching two birdies - on the par-4 sixth, and the par-4 13th.
Tommy Bowen shot 110 and Lucas Vincent carded a 111.
For the girls Payton Perry led the way with a 118, while Izzy Repsher notched a 129.
Rosie Glantz had a 134 with a birdie on the par-3 10th hole, Maggie Glantz scored a 137, Clara Glantz had a 143, and Maddie Snell finished with a 154.
