TOWANDA — Towanda fell 3-0 to Wellsboro during NTL volleyball action Tuesday, losing the sets 25-20, 25-13, and 25-16.
The loss ends Towanda’s chances of making the district playoffs.
Brooklyn Evans had nine kills, six points, six digs, one block, and two aces for the Knights, while Karis Flynn added 16 assists, nine digs, four kills, two points, and an ace.
Brynsen Vargason notched nine digs, five points, an ace, and two kills, as Kaya Johnson had three kills with a point.
Lillie Maynard had a dig, a kill, and three points, with Alyssa Dulaney getting five points, nine digs, an ace, and a kill.
Lariah Long had six digs, Layla Miller notched three, and Caedence Wells finished with two.
Towanda fell in a tough JV match, 2-1. Wellsboro took the first set 25-18, but the Knights won the second 25-20.
A 15-11 third set win by the Hornets gave them the match.
Hannah Crawford had five points, five kills, six digs, an assist, and one block for Towanda as Ali Hollett had six points, nine digs, eight assists, two kills, and an ace.
Addie Barrett had three kills, four points, and three aces, as Kendall Kellogg finished with three points, three kills, and seven digs.
Mollie Roberts added three points, an ace, a kill, and three digs, with Alayna Ranking getting two points, two kills, and two digs.
Kylie Barnes had one point, Nozila Ismailova notched two digs, and Layla Longcoy added a dig.
Towanda will wrap up their season at NEB on Thursday.
