ROME — Northeast Bradford boys’ basketball rolled to an 80-11 win over Benton during non-league action Tuesday.
The Panthers hot 31-for-54 in the contest as four different players hit double figures.
Cooper Brown had 18 points and six boards to lead NEB, as Tanner Herb notched a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds, to go with three assists, and five steals.
Tyler Thoman added 11 points and two steals, as Eli Stanton went 4-for-6 from the field for 10 points to go with four assists.
Dan Barrett added nine points, while Clay Wilkes had six points, and four rebounds. Nate Gross notched four points, Dayton Russell had three points, six rebounds, and three assists, as Brennin Thoman, and Mac Burgert had two points each. Thoman also had four rebounds, and two steals.
NEB jumped out to a 13-2 first quarter lead behind seven points from Tyler Thoman, then went on a 23-2 run in the second quarter as seven different Panthers scored, to take a 36-4 lead at the half.
NEB would have their best offensive quarter of the season in the third, netting 30 points behind 11 from Brown, nine from Herb, and eight out of Stanton.
In the fourth Barrett had all nine of his points to bring the win home.
NEB won the JV game 44-10 as Gross scored 14, and Barrett netted 13.
