WESTFIELD — Four different players hit double figures as Troy rolled past CV, 76-46, in NTL boys’ basketball action Saturday.
Troy jumped out to a 28-9 first quarter lead and never looked back.
JB Burbage had 26 points to lead Troy, along with seven boards, three assists, and two steals.
Lincoln Chimics, and Joseph Frye had 13 points apiece, while Evan Woodward scored 11. Chimics had three assists, and two steals, as well, while Frye had four boards, and three assists, with Woodward getting three assists, and three steals.
Trey Teribury had five points, and four rebounds, with Spencer Martin, and Sam Roy scoring three points each. Martin also had five boards, and four assists.
Aiden Lawrence chipped in with two points, with Eason Teribury making his debut with five rebounds.
Troy had nine 3-balls in the contest - Burbage had three, Frye notched two, with Martin, Chimics, Woodward, and Teribury had one apiece.
Burbage had 14 points in the first frame, hitting two 3-balls, while Chimics, Frye, and Woodward also had 3-pointers as Troy opened up the 19-point lead.
They went on to out scored CV 22-9 in the second quarter to go up 50-18 at the half. Woodward had eight points in the frame.
Burbage had seven in the third, with Chimics scoring six as Troy extended their lead to 68-32.
Troy (5-2) travels to Towanda on Tuesday.
