BLOOMSBURG — Towanda wrestling won their second dual match in as many days, beating Central Columbia, 53-15, in non-league action.

The Knights won 10 of the 13 bouts, with Jayden Stranger (114) and Hagen Jones (127) scoring forfeits in two of the first three weights to get things started.


Reese Sluyter (139) and Riley Vanderpool (145) then had back to back falls, with Brayden Spencer (152) earning an 18-4 major decision over Logan Miller.


Rylee Sluyter (160) followed with a technical fall for a 36-6 lead.


The Blue Jays got wins at 172, and 189 to cut it to 36-15, but Towanda took the final three bouts. Sawyer Robinson (215) got a forfeit, Mason Higley (285) earned a technical fall, and Mason Harbst (107) finished things off with a 13-4 major over Jace Jamison.


Towanda will host Wyalusing on Friday at 7 p.m. for the Standing Stone Trophy.
