NTL GIRLS' WRESTLING: NEB'S KOLESAR, LAMBERT EARN MEDALS AT COAL CRACKER (2025-01-18)

JIM THORPE — NEB had two wrestlers make the podium at the rugged Coal Cracker Girls’ Wrestling Invitational Saturday.

Anaiah Kolesar (126) was second, and Ava Lambert (150) took fourth.


Kolesar went 5-1 on the day, with four falls, and a tech fall, before falling to Montgomery’s Emily Murphy by fall in 2:32.


Lambert went 4-1 on the day with all four wins coming by fall. Her only losses were to the eventual champion, Jordyn Fouse, and the third place winner, Hughesville’s Alexis Kurzawa, also by fall.


Mackenzie Clark (120) went 4-2 on the day, just missing the podium.


Cora Franklin (150) went 3-2 while Riley Lamson (138) and Dariela Reyes-Ramirez both went 0-2. Reyes-Ramirez did take third in the JV bracket.
