WYALUSING — It was a barn burner in Wyalusing as the Rams fell to East Juniata, 57-55, in double overtime during non-league boys’ hoops action Saturday.
Myles Kershner had a career high 17 points for Wyalusing as Zabiah Walton added 13 points.
Hunter House and Will McBride both netted eight, Shay Gartland scored five, and Jared VandeMark finished with four.
The Rams led 16-11 after one behind seven from Walton, but EJ stormed back in the second quarter, netting 22 points to take a 33-24 lead at the break.
Wyalusing dug in defensively in the third, holding EJ to just three points, while Kershner had six points to pace the Rams as they cut the deficit to 36-35.
In the fourth Wyalusing would out score EJ 13-12 behind four points from both McBride and Walton to knot the game.
With the game tied at 48 going into overtime EJ got the winner after two extra periods.
Wyalusing (1-11) will host Williamson on Wednesday.
