WYALUSING — Wyalusing dropped their final dual meet of the season, falling 45-29 to NP-Liberty in NTL action Tuesday.
NPL opened with back to back falls to take a 12-0 lead, but Isaiah Harvey registered a forfeit to cut that deficit in half.
The Mounties added 17 straight points over the next three weights to go up 29-6.
A Cole Patrick (139) forfeit, followed by a Reuben Kinney (145) tech fall cut it to 29-17.
NPL got a fall at 152 to put them on the verge, but Ayden Hunsinger (160) kept the Rams’ hope alive with a pin, making it 35-23.
NPL would get falls at 172 and 189, though, to take the match. Daniel Fox (215) rounded things out with a forfeit win for the Rams.
Wyalusing will travel to Ultimate Warrior this weekend.
