NTL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: BIG NIGHTS FROM BEEBE, VANDEMARK LEAD NEB PAST NPM (2025-01-22)

ROME — Becca VandeMark and Leah Beebe combined for 45 points as NEB rolled past NP-Mansfield, 75-51, during NTL girls’ basketball action Tuesday.

The Panthers led by just three after one, but extended that lead to 38-26 at the half. A 20-point third quarter sealed the win for them.


Beebe had 23 points, three steals, and four assists as VandeMark notched 22 points, four steals, and four assists.


Lillie Maynard had 11 points, seven boards, six steals, and six assists, while Lilah Hughes added 10 points, three steals, four assists, and two blocks.


Mallorie Maynard netted six points to go with seven boards, as Aurelia Kolesar netted three points.


Claire Dominick had 16 points to lead NPM.


Beebe went off for eight points in the first quarter, while VandeMark netted six, but Kameron Lightener had six for the Tigers as they were down just 17-14 after one.


Beebe added 10 more in the second, with VandeMark scoring six, as the Panthers pushed their lead to 12 points.


In the third Lillie Maynard scored seven with VandeMark scoring six again as NEB pulled away.


NEB’s JV team won 55-17 behind 21 from Kara Dughi, and 12 out of Kolesar.


NEB (11-2) will take their 7-game win streak into Athens on Thursday with a 7:30 p.m. start.
