On the boys’ side Canton’s Ben Fitch exploded offensively to lead the Warriors to a 2-1 week. He averaged 24 points per game with 36 in a win over Williamson, and 20 in a victory against CV, earning him Male Athlete of the Week honors.
For the girls’ Payton Perry put up 17.3 PPG as the Knights went 3-0 against three of the top teams in the league - Wyalusing, NEB, and Athens. She hit some big shots in the rally to beat NEB, earning her the Female Athlete of the Week.
