SULLIVAN COUNTY FALLS AT NORTHWEST (2025-02-08)

SHIKSHINNY — Sullivan County fell to Northwest, 75-41, during Mid-Penn boys’ hoops action Saturday.

Josh and Ryan Miner combined for 49 points to lead the Rangers, who jumped out to a 22-5 first quarter lead.


Lucas King led Sullivan with 10 points, while Colin King netted nine.


Cayden Smithkors scored seven, Ryan Murray had four, with Justin Hemighaus, Jaiden Moore, and Jay Barringer getting three points each. Tucker Blasi chipped in with two.


After falling down by 17 Sullivan responded with a 12 point second quarter as Lucas King netted six, though the Griffins were looking at a 43-17 deficit at the half.


Northwest went on to out score them 32-24 in the second half.


Northwest won the JV game 33-25 as Landon Bahr had nine to lead the Griffins.


Sullivan is at Wyalusing on Tuesday.
