NTL SWIMMING & DIVING: TOWANDA COMPETES AT WILLIAMSPORT COACHES INVITATIONAL (2025-02-10)

WILLIAMSPORT — Towanda swimmers competed at the Williamsport Coaches Invitational over the weekend.

For the boys the 200 medley relay of Shane Maghamez, Lincoln Shanks, Sean Lauber, and Nathan Little was 16th in 2:20.09, while the foursome of Curtis Carter, Matthews Weinman, Hudson Wheaton, and Braydin Mattison took 17th in 2:31.37.


Nolan Deacon (2:15.93) took 18th in the 200 free with Lauber (2:18.23) coming in 20th. Wheaton (2:53.55) finished 27th.


Brennick Lain (25.69) took 22nd for the Knights the 50 free, with Alex Lantz (28.04) 34th, and Kenneth Carle (28.69) 37th. Shanks (29.08) was 41st, as well.


Lain (57.82) was 19th in the 100 free, with Deacon (59.15) taking 24th. Lantz (1:01.22) came in 27th, Lauber (1:03.80) was 29th, and Lake Strickland (1:05.03) finished 31st.


In the 500 free Carle (6:33.73) was 10th, while Xander Pratt (7:37.90) came in 11th.


In the 200 free relay the foursome of Pratt, Carter, Little, and Lantz was 17th in 2:03.43, while the team of Strickland, Mattison, Weinman, and Clay Wrisley was 18th in 2:06.77.


Deacon (1:10.54) was 17th in the 100 backstroke, with Maghamez (1:16.59), taking 22nd. Weinman (1:35.62) came in 25th in the 100 breaststroke, as Strickland (1:45) was 27th.


The 400 free relay squad of Carle, Strickland, Wrisley, and Lain was ninth in 4:32.47, while the foursome of Pratt, Wheaton, Little, and Mattison took 10th in 5:15.84.


For the girls Towanda’s medley relay of Kylee Barnes, Marin Maynard, Reagan Deacon, and Allexys Shaffer took 16th in 2:41.76.


Deacon (3:32.37) took 21sth in the 200 IM, as Maynard (31.60) was 36th in the 50 free. Barnes (32.78) came in 41st, Bertille Roth (36.71) was 48th, and Shaffer (37.08) came in 49th.


Dalila Vega (1:10.28) took 27th in the 100 free, with Katelyn Blokzyl (1:16.06) 37th. Roth (1:23.99) came in 42nd, with Morgan Lamphere (1:24.43) finishing 43rd.


Lamphere (8:08.61) finished 18th in the 500 free. Maynard (1:37.72) finished 27th in the 100 breaststroke, with Deacon (1:41.34) taking 28th.


The Towanda 200 free relay of Maynard, Roth, Vega, and Blokzyl took 15th in 2:11.10. The 400 free relay team of Lamphere, Blokzyl, Roth, and Vega took 10th in 5:18.41.
