
WILLIAMSPORT — All four Troy wrestlers fell into the consolations at the first day of the District IV, Class AA Championships Friday.
Reed Palmer (285) opened with an 11-2 major decision, but then lost by fall in 55 seconds in the quarters. He’ll face Hughesville’s Colton Woolever in the elimination round.
Carter Austin (160) was pinned in 1:15 in his quarterfinal match, as he faces Southern Columbia’s Caius Morrow in the elimination round.
Rylan Breidt (172) lost a 19-3 tech fall in his preliminary match, and he’ll face Central Columbia’s Hunter Dietterick in the elimination round.
Keagan Kerr (133) lost a 15-0 tech fall match in his opening round bout. He’ll get Benton’s Daniel Sleiman in the elimination round.
Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
