
DIMOCK — Wyalusing led 1-0 for three innings, but Elk Lake rallied in the fourth and fifth to pick up the 11-1 win in five innings during non-league baseball action Saturday.
Kenny Mapes (1-for-2) had the team’s lone hit, as Isaac Shaffer scored their run.
Eric Ostrowski started for Wyalusing, going four innings with two strikeouts, five hits, five walks, and eight earned runs.
Dawson Biza came on but didn’t record an out, allowing three hits, two walks, and four earned runs. Ashton VandeMark tossed the final two-thirds.
In the first Shaffer reached on a 1-out walk, then was hit to third by Mapes’ single. He later scored on a wild pitch that allowed Wyalusing to take the 1-0 lead.
Wyalusing (0-3) travels to Tunkhannock on Monday.
