Northern Tier Sports ReportWILKES-BARRE — Canton’s Tate Cole helped the Susquehanna Lumberjacks 11U to claim the DRZ Dome Tournament in Wilkes-Barre this past weekend.
The Lumberjacks beat Lycoming County Sliders (11-1), Southern Tier Stingers (10-0), and the Grind Athletics 11U (12-2).
Cole pitched the first game, going four innings with six strikeouts, one walk, three hits, and one earned run. He went 1-for-2 at the plate with a double, a run scored, and an RBI.
In the title game Cole went 1-for-1 with two runs scored, and an RBI.
