
TOWANDA — The Towanda girls rolled to an NTL dual meet win over NP-Mansfield, 100-47, during track and field action Tuesday. The boys fell 97-57.
For the Lady Knights they swept the pole vault with Marin Maynard (9-feet), Cheyenne Morgan (7-feet, 6-inches), and Allexys Shaffer (7-feet).
Katelyn Blokzyl (18.3) won the 100 hurdles as Reese Sullivan (13.93) was third in the 100.
Towanda swept the discus with Ali Hollett (76-feet, 5-inches), Mya Maynard (73-feet, 11-inches), and Brynn Woodruff (68-feet, 8-inches).
Izzy Larson (2:39.82) won the 800 with Kennedy Heyer (4-feet, 8-inches), and Natalyn Morris (4-feet, 6-inches) going 1-2 in the high jump.
Towanda’s 4x400 won in 5:45.67, while their 4x100 won in 54.81.
Towanda swept the shot put with Mya Maynard (30-feet, 1-inch), Lilyann Sproule (27-feet, 9-inches), and Hannah Petty (26-feet, 2-inches).
Blokzyl (56.18) won the 300 hurdles with the 4x800 winning in 11:48.04.
Kenzie Brown (6:20.03) won the 1600 as Woodruff (27-feet, 5-inches) took third in the triple jump.
Woodruff won the javelin in 128-feet, 1-inch followed by teammates Mya Maynard (93-feet, 6-inches), and Sproule (74-feet, 10-inches).
Anna Dunn (1:06.15) won the 400 with Sullivan (29.40) second in the 200. Mary-Kate Eberlin (12:29.85) won the 3200.
Marin Maynard (13-feet, 10-inches) won the long jump with Morgan (12-feet, 5-inches) in second.
For the boys Jazick Brown (24.17) won the 200 with Brennick Lain (26.30) in third. Brown was second in the 400 in 53.09, while taking gold in the 100 in 11.61.
Varrius Farrell (50-feet, 11-inches) won the shot put with teammate Dominik Miller (35-feet, 8-inches) in second.
Towanda swept the discus with Jason Valdez (113-feet, 4-inches), Miller (95-feet, 7-inches), and Lake Strickland (90-feet, 3-inches).
Towanda also swept the pole vault with Wyatt Stranger (11-feet), Jace Gunther (9-feet), and Lain (8-feet).
Jacob Carr (11:46.37) was third in the 3200, as Kolton McPeak (129-feet, 11-inches), and Gunther (121-feet, 2-inches) went 2-3 in the javelin.
Anthony Rifenbark (5:18.15) took third in the 1600, and Kole Heyer (5-feet, 10-inches) was third in the high jump.
Jackson Frederick (2:29.11) and Sean Lauber (2:31.96) went 2-3 in the 800.
Towanda will be at the Lasagna Invitational on Friday.
