NTL SOFTBALL: WYALUSING FALLS AT WILLIAMSON (2025-04-23)

ELKLAND — Wyalusing’s 6-game win streak came to an end as they fell to Williamson, 8-2, during NTL softball action Tuesday.

Williamson struck first with two runs in the second. Wyalusing came back with two runs in the top of the third, but the Warriors retook the lead with two runs in the bottom half of the inning.


They added three more in the fourth, then scored their final run in the sixth.


Emily Johns (1-for-2) had a triple with a run scored, as Rachel Wilson (1-for-2) hit a double. Addison Fluck (1-for-3) also had a hit.


Treanna Nickeson scored a run as Addisyn Bly had an RBI.


Fluck took the loss, striking out nine with five walks, three hits, and eight runs.


In the third Johns led off with a triple, then scored on a Bly sacrifice fly. 


Nickeson reached on a walk, stole second and third, and then took home on a passed ball.


Wyalusing (6-5) will host Towanda on Thursday with a 4:30 p.m. start.
