
WYALUSING — Towanda’s Brynn Woodruff set a new school record in the javelin as the Lady Knights took sixth overall at Wyalusing’s Lasagna Invitational Friday.
Woodruff threw a personal best 140-feet, 5-inches - good enough for top 25 in the country as of Friday - to win the javelin.
The 4x800 relay of Mary-Kate Eberlin, Melody Hakes, Kylee Barnes, and Izzy Larson won in 10:00.27. Larson also took fourth (2:23) in the 800, while Eberlin was sixth (2:24.91).
Marin Maynard took third in the pole vault at 9-feet), while Reese Sullivan was third in the freshman 100 in 13.83.
Mya Maynard was fifth in the discus (96-feet, 7-inches), and seventh in javelin (92-feet, 8-inches).
The girls ended up with 40 points as a team.
