
WYALUSING — Varrius Farrell’s runner-up spot in the shot put paced the Towanda boys’ track and field team at the Lasagna Invitational on Friday.
Farrell threw 48-feet, 1/2-inch to take second, while in the javelin Dominik Miller (118-feet, 5-inches), and Kolton McPeak (114-feet, 9-inches) took fifth and sixth.
Jazick Brown was sixth in the 400 (53.89) and eighth in the 100 (11.55). Quentin Littler won the freshman 1600 in 5:09.71.
The team took 18th overall with 12 points.
