
It was a productive day for the area powerlifters last Saturday at the PA State High School Powerlifting Championships.
NEB’s Abby Keeney won a state title in her division, squatting 185 pounds, bench pressing 90 pounds, and deadlifting 255 pounds.
Fellow Panther Hannah Berger was also a state champion in her division, squatting 255 pounds, bench pressing 110 pounds, and deadlifting 350 pounds.
NEB’s Steve Berger was second in his division, squatting 225 pounds, bench pressing 135 pounds, and deadlifting 325 pounds.
Troy’s Kael Millard was runner-up in his division, squatting 515 pounds, bench pressing 330 pounds, and deadlifting 500 pounds.
Trojan seventh grader Bentley Curtis took fourth in his division, squatting 200 pounds, bench pressing 155 pounds, and deadlifting 280 pounds.
