
TROY — Troy boys and girls earned a pair of sweeps in track and field action Tuesday. The boys scored 96.5 points to win, followed by NP-Mansfield (67) and Montgomery (21.5), while on the girls’ side Troy (70) won with NPM (56) second, and Montgomery (54) in third.
For the boys Troy’s Rylan Breidt (44.36) won the 300 hurdles with teammate Isaac Gates (52.60) in third. Breidt (129-feet, 2-inches) won the javelin followed by teammates Gordon Weaver (125-feet, 9-inches), and Timothy Hornung (116-feet, 1-inch).
Troy won the 4x800 in 9:41.46, as Breidt (21.48) was third in the 110 hurdles.
Ben Warburton (11.94) won the 100 with teammate Charles Oldroyd (12.77) in third while Evan Geer (4:49.51) went on to win the 1600.
Geer (2:12.38) won the 800, as Mason Wulff (54.02) was second in the 400. Warburton (23.32) won the 200 with RJ Bellinger (11:39.8) taking third in the 3200.
Kendrick Ross and Cameron Morey both jumped 6-feet in the high jump, as Ben Osgood (9-feet) won the pole vault. Alex Breidt (8-feet) and Ben Cook (7-feet) went second and third.
Avery Sens (47-feet, 7 3/4-inches) won the shot put with teammate Cooper Watkins (37-feet, 4 1/2-inches) in second.
Sens (123-feet, 8-inches) won the discus with Watkins (99-feet, 9-inches) in third. Warburton (21-feet, 2 1/2-inches) won the long jump.
On the girls’ side Alyssa Parks (48.08) won the 300 hurdles with teammate Kylee Roy (49.60) in second. Madelyn Seeley (91-feet, 2-inches) was second in the javelin.
Roy (17.34) won the 100 hurdles, as Ellie Spalding (13.97) was second in the 100. The Troy 4x100 won in 54.62.
Haylie Davies-Grove (2:48.17) was second in the 800 as Spalding (29.76) took second in the 200. Troy won the 4x400 in 4:34.64.
Parks won the high jump (4-feet, 10-inches) and pole vault (8-feet, 6-inches), with Parker Lee (8-feet) second in the pole vault.
Ella Lawton (87-feet) won the discus, as Cheyenne Kneller (24-feet, 10-inches) took second in the shot put. Lee (15-feet, 5-inches) was second in the long jump.
Roy (33-feet, 6-inches) won the triple jump.
