NTL TRACK & FIELD: WYALUSING SWEEPS NEB IN DUAL MEET SEASON FINALE (2025-05-06)

WYALUSING — Wyalusing swept NEB in NTL dual meet action on Monday. The boys won 97-52, while the girls won 84-65.

On the boys’ side Wyalusing’s Ayden Hunsinger (11.7) won the 100 followed by teammate Jonathan Earle (12.1), and NEB’s Jayden Comstra (12.3).


Wyalusing’s Mason Culver (26.0) won the 200 followed by Comtra (26.1), and Wyalusing’s Tyler Grover (28.8).


NEB’s Daniel Barrett (55.8) and Tyler Kuhn (56.4) went 1-2 in the 400, as Wyalusing’s Parker Cunningham (59.1) was third.


NEB’s Creed Dewing (2:30) and Brody Bennett (2:33) went 1-2 in the 800 with Cunningham (2:47) third.


Dewing (4:54) edged out Wyalusing’s Trennan Tewksbury (4:55.9) to win the 1600, with NEB’s Ryan Jones (4:56.4) in third.


Jones (11:20) and Jackson Martin (11:21) went 1-2 in the 3200 for NEB as Tewksbury (12:10) was third.


Wyalusing went 1-2-3 in the 110 hurdles with James Rogan (17.3), Jack Fischer (17.4) and Cunningham (20.9).


Earle (44.7) won the 300 hurdles with Fischer (46.0) second, as NEB’s Miles Sanders (52.8) came in third.


Wyalusing won the 4x100 (46.5) as NEB won the 4x400 (3:49) and 4x800 (10:31).


The Rams swept the high jump with Dylan Johns (5-feet, 4-inches), Culver (5-feet, 2-inches), and John Kerin (5-feet).


Earle (12-feet) and teammate Tyler Grover (8-feet) went 1-2 in the pole vault.


Shay Gartland (18-feet, 4 1/2-inches) led a Wyalusing sweep in the long jump with Reuben Kinney (17-feet, 11 3/4-inches) in second, and Fischer (17-feet, 6-inches) in third.


Wyalusing went 1-2 in the triple jump with Tyler Caplan (11-feet, 1/2-inches) and Cunningham (37-feet, 5 1/2-inches), as Barrett (36-feet, 8-inches) came in third.


Wyalusing’s Joshua Palfreyman (41-feet, 1/2-inch) won the shot put followed by teammate Ja Latini (36-feet, 1/2-inch), with NEB’s Ben Ellis (34-feet, 11 1/2-inches) in third.


NEB’s Lex Cragle (132-feet, 8-inches) won the discus as Palfreyman (96-feet, 5-inches) was second, and Latini (94-feet, 5-inches) came in third.


Wyalusing swept the javelin with Ethan Vanderpool (131-feet), Connor Earle (111-feet, 9-inches), and Aiden Neiley (106-feet, 6-inches).


On the girls’ side Wyalusing’s Vayda Rought (13.6) won the 100 followed by teammates Sarah Young (13.7), and Ava King (14.1).


Wyalusing’s Carol Scarborough (29.3) won the 200 with teammates Megan King (29.4) and Aleta O’Connor (30.2) in second and third.


NEB’s Gracelyn Laudermilch (1:03.5) won the 400 with Rams Sarah Young (1:10) and Willa King (1:14) in second and third.


NEB’s Anaiah Kolesar (2:38) won the 800 followed by Rams Ireland Coats (2:57) and Riley Porter (3:02).


NEB’s Sophie Bennett (6:01) won the 1600 with Wyalusing’s Riley Porter (6:17) in second, and NEB’s Anyeh Reyes-Farjardo (6:44.2) in third.


Laudermilch (12:53) and Bennett (13:48) went 1-2 in the 3200 as Coats (16:06) was third.


NEB swept the 100 hurdles with Mallorie Maynard (17.9), Amelia Kapr (18.0), and Kayah Frasier (18.7).


Maynard (50.6) and Kapr (52.6) went 1-2 in the 300 hurdles as King (53.2) was third.


Wyalusing’s 4x100 (54.4) won with NEB taking the 4x400 (4:50) and 4x800 (11:39).


Wyalusing’s Abby Trowbridge (4-feet, 8-inches) won the high jump with NEB’s Maynard (4-feet, 6-inches) second, and Ram Ava King (4-feet, 6-inches) third.


Wyalusing went 1-2 in the pole vault with Lia Hart (7-feet) and Storey Newell (7-feet).


Wyalusing swept the long jump with Alyssa Neagle (14-feet, 9 1/4-inches), Rought (14-feet, 7 3/4-inches), and Trowbridge (14-feet, 5-inches).


They also swept the triple jump with Ava King (31-feet, 2 1/2-inches), Neagle (29-feet, 7-inches), and Liz Kilmer (28-feet, 1 3/4-inches).


Wyalusing’s Gabrielle Palfreyman (33-feet, 8 1/2-inches) won the shot put followed by NEB’s Cora Franklin (29-feet, 10-inches), and Sierra Gromley (26-feet, 11-inches).


Palfreyman won the discus (98-feet, 5-inches) as Franklin (97-feet, 2 1/2-inches) was second, and Gromley (73-feet, 3 1/2-inches) took third.


NEB’s Abby O’Connor (82-feet, 4-inches) won the javelin as Wyalusing’s Addi Vanderpool (78-feet, 11-inches), and Taydin Gardner (74-feet, 7-inches) was second and third.
