Northern Tier Sports ReportCANTON — Canton softball fell 19-2 to Williamson in six innings during NTL action Monday.
Canton scored two in the fourth while Williamson had seven in the second, six in the third, two in the fourth, and four more in the fifth.
Tara Gilbert (1-for-2) and Charleigh Anderson scored the Canton runs. Gilbert scored on an error, while Anderson would steal home.
Ward and Gilbert combined for three strikeouts in the circle.
Canton (3-12) hosts Wellsboro on Thursday with a 4:30 p.m. start.
