
WILLIAMSPORT — Rian Hennessy and Bayley Poll both went 1-1 at the District IV Boys’ Tennis Singles Tournament Wednesday.
Poll, the seventh seed, got a first round bye then went on to beat Jersey Shore’s Saul Hensler 6-4, 6-1 in the second round.
In the quarters he fell to Montoursville’s Teli Bobotas 2-6, 6-7 (7-5).
Hennessy rolled to a first round win over Galeton’s David Martin 6-1, 6-2 in the opening round, then lost 6-0, 6-0 to Danville’s David Sommer in the second round.
