AOW: T&F ATHLETES SENS, DEWING, AND SOFTBALL PLAYERS KNAPP, WILSON POST BIG WEEKS (2025-05-25)

Baseball and softball playoffs are in full swing, while track and field showcased their best at the PIAA Championships this past weekend.

On the girls’ side there have been some big playoff performances on the softball diamond. Troy freshman Erinn Knapp has allowed just one run in 14 innings over two wins, including six hits and three walks, while striking out 14. Wyalusing’s Rachel Wilson went 3-for-4 with a home run in their playoff win over Line Mountain. The two of them are the Co-Female Athletes of the Week.


For the boys Troy’s Avery Sens ended his high school throwing career at Shippensburg, taking 17th in the Class AA boys’ shot put, while NEB’s Creed Dewing took 25th in the Class AA boys’ 1600. They’re the Co-Male Athletes of the Week.
