
ROME — The NEB Hall of Fame inducted two new members on Wednesday: Bob Moore and Zack Green.
Moore excelled as an athlete and coach for the Panthers. He coached girls’ basketball for 20 years (1990-1994, 1995-2011), and boys’ basketball for one season (2004-2005).
He finished with 399 wins wins, 14 state playoff appearances, with an Elite 8 in 1994, six NTL titles, and two PIAA District IV Championships.
Green wrestled from 2009-2012 and finished with 139 wins and 24 losses.
He was a 2-time Tunkhannock Kiwanis Champion, and the 2011 Kiwanis Outstanding Wrestler.
He was a 3-time North Section finalist, a North Section champion in 2012, a 3-time Regional qualifier, a 4-time District IV qualifiers, with a silver medal in 2012, and a PIAA state medalist at 138 pounds in 2012.
He was also an Athletic All-Academic with a 4.0 GPA.
