TOWANDA — Towanda softball’s Tae-Lynn Brabant helped the Knights to one of their best seasons in recent memory, and going forward she’ll be hoping to do that for Pitt-Bradford.
“I’m super, duper excited,” Brabant said about joining Pitt-Bradford’s softball team next season. “It was close, and when I did an overnight it felt right. There were a couple (other schools), but Pitt-Bradford was my top one.”
From the circle this year Brabant has posted a 2.149 ERA with 80 strikeouts in a team high 71 2/3-innings of action. She’s hoping that success will translate to the next level.
“I’m hoping to be a pitcher,” she said. “If not, I’ll be in the outfield.”
Brabant believes she’s brings much more than just softball skills.
“I’m hoping I can bring some spirit, and maybe some leadership,” she said.
Brabant will be majoring in mathematics education.
