Northern Tier Sports ReportWYALUSING — RTL pulled away from NEBall for a 19-4 win during District 15 Little League Minors Baseball pool play action Tuesday.
RTL led 6-2 after one, and 13-4 after two. They scored four more in the third, and two again in the fourth.
RTL’s Cayden Benjamin (3-for-3) had 4-RBI with a run scored, as Emerson Clouse (3-for-3) had a triple, with four runs scored.
Ethan Shaffer (2-for-2) had a double, three runs scored, and 2-RBI, as Eli Howard (2-for-2) scored twice, and drove in two runs.
Adrien Cole (1-for-2) had a triple with 2-RBI, as Elliott Campbell (1-for-1) had a double with three runs scored, and an RBI.
Forrest Fisk (1-for-1) scored twice, and drove in two runs, while Brantley Cron (1-for-3) scored. Elijah Rought would score twice as Ashton Cole had 2-RBI, and crossed home once.
Cron went an inning with three strikeouts, followed by Wesley Carr going an inning with one strikeout.
Shaffer struck out two in an inning of action, while Campbell tossed the final inning.
Cole W (2-for-2) had a double with 2-RBI for NEBall as Lane A (1-for-2) scored twice. Quaid Martin also scored twice, with Jaxson W (1-for-1) driving in two runs.
Blake S (1-for-2) also had a hit.
Lane went the first two-thirds for a strikeout, as Blake tossed an inning with one strikeout.
Martin then came on for an inning, followed by Jaxson striking out one in two-thirds of an inning.
Everett E went the final two-thirds with two strikeouts.
