Northern Tier Sports ReportMANSFIELD — A rough third inning saw Canton fall to Southern Tioga Breon, 18-3, in District 15 Little League Junior Baseball action Thursday.
Southern Tioga led 4-2 after one, and 8-3 after two. They would score 10 runs in the third to pull away for the win.
Daniel Inman (2-for-2) had a double for Canton as Colby Colton (1-for-1), Liam Rathbun, and Grant Jennings all scored. Teyton Thompson, Brior Hartford, and Christopher Reynoso each had an RBI.
Inman started, and went two innings with two strikeouts. Thompson struck out one in two-thirds of an inning, while Jennings went the final third with one strikeout.
Canton will host Southern Tioga Brant on Saturday with a 3 p.m. start.
