
TUNKHANNOCK — NEBall used a 7-run sixth inning to rally past Tunkhannock, 13-11, in District 15 Little League Minors Baseball bracket play Thursday.
Tunkhannock jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first, with NEBall getting three back in the second. In the third Tunkhannock out scored them 4-1 to take 10-4 lead.
NEBall cut into the lead with two runs in the top of the fifth, but Tunkhannock got one back in the bottom half of the inning.
In the sixth, though, NEBall had their big inning to pull out the win.
Cole W (2-for-3) scored twice, and drove in two runs, as Blake S (2-for-3) scored, and had an RBI.
Quaid Martin (1-for-3) scored twice, and drove in two runs, while Lane A (1-for-4) had a double with a run scored.
Dylan E (1-for-3) had a double with a run scored, while Jaxson W scored twice, and had drove in a run.
Everett E (1-for-3) had 2-RBI with a run scored, as Dylan E (1-for-3), and Carson S also scored.
Blake started, and went two-thirds of an inning with one strikeout, with Lane going the next 3 1/3-innings with six strikeouts.
Everett then tossed an inning, with Martin pitching the final two-thirds to get the win.
NEBall will travel to RTL on Saturday for a 3 p.m. contest in the quarterfinals.
