Northern Tier Sports ReportATHENS — Towanda fell to Athens, 2-1, during District 15 Little League Minors Softball action Friday.
Athens scored runs in the third and fifth innings, while Towanda got theirs in the sixth.
Skylar Chilson (2-for-2) had an RBI as Brielle Pratt (2-for-3) and Sloane Stevens (2-for-2) each had multi-hit games.
Nora Cashdollar (1-for-3) also had a hit as Natalie Dulaney scored a run.
Dulaney struck out two in five innings of work.
Towanda will host Troy on Sunday with a 4 p.m. start.
