ATHENS — The Athens Junior High girls’ hoops league continued play on Monday.

Towanda beat Canton (51-6) and Wyalusing (38-16), with Troy beating Athens (36-18) but falling to undefeated Waverly (35-17).

Wyalusing lost to Athens (31-28), with Canton falling to Waverly (63-12).

Waverly (4-0) leads the standings with Troy (3-1) and Towanda (3-1) both in second.

Athens (2-2) sits in fourth, Wyalusing (1-3) in fifth, and Canto (0-4) in sixth.
