
RTL Minors baseball bounced back with an 8-6 win over Keystone during the Section III Tournament on Sunday.
The win keeps them alive as they return to play in the consolation bracket finale on Monday.
RTL led 1-0 after one, and 3-1 after two. Keystone would tie the game up at 3-3 in the fourth.
The sixth turned out to be the deciding inning, with RTL pushing five runs across. Keystone rallied with three, but couldn’t quite catch RTL.
Ashton Cole (2-for-2) had 2-RBI for RTL as Forrest Fisk (2-for-2) also drove in a run. Elliott Campbell (1-for-2) scored twice, and drove in a run, with Emerson Clouse also crossing home twice.
Ethan Shaffer (1-for-3) and Wesley Carr both scored, and drove in a run. Cayden Benjamin, and Adrien Cole also scored, as Eli Howard (1-for-2) had a hit.
Clouse went the first five innings with one strikeout, while Carr came on to start the sixth. Campbell then finished off the final inning to secure the win.
