Northern Tier Sports ReportATHENS — The Athens junior high girls’ hoops summer league continued on Monday.
On the final week of the regular season Troy defeated Waverly (26-20) and Canton (27-1), while Towanda beat Canton (43-12) but lost to Athens (44-28).
Wyalusing fell to Waverly (34-25) and Athens (27-25).
For the playoffs Waverly faces Towanda and Troy takes on Athens at 6 p.m. The winner plays in the title game at 7 p.m.
