Canton (1-0) at CV (0-1-1), 4:30 p.m.: The Warriors will look to build off their win over Athens as they travel west for a division contest. CV opened the season with a loss at home to Troy.
Athens (0-1) at Troy (1-0), 4:30 p.m.: The Trojans welcome the Wildcats for their home opener, as they are coming off a come from behind win against CV. Athens is looking to even up their record after falling to Canton.
SOFTBALL
NEB (0-0) at NP-Liberty (0-1), 4:30 p.m.: The Panthers hit the road to open their season, and NTL Division-II title defense. The Mounties are coming off a loss to Williamson last week.
Canton (0-1) at CV (1-0), 4:30 p.m.: The first divisional match-up between the two teams. Canton is looking to bounce back after a tough loss to Athens, while the Indians will be trying to keep things rolling after a win over Troy.
Athens (1-0) at Troy (0-1), 4:30 p.m.: The Trojans will be looking to bounce back in their home opener, as they lost to CV last week to start the season. Athens held off Canton late, but continue their early road heavy schedule.
