NTL CROSS-COUNTRY: TOWANDA BOYS, GIRLS EARN DUAL MEET SWEEP OVER SULLIVAN, NPM (2025-09-10)

MANSFIELD — The Towanda girls and boys cross-country teams came away with sweeps during NTL dual meet action Tuesday.

The girls defeated NP-Mansfield (19-40) and Sullivan County (18-39), with Sullivan edged NPM (26-29).

Towanda’s Izzy Larson (19:29) and Maris Cobb (19:30) went 1-2 while NPM’s Jaci Fairchild (21:09) was third.

Towanda’s Kenzie Brown (21:17) came in fourth, with Sullivan’s Zoey Reese (21:34) in fifth.

Towanda’s Mary-Kate Eberlin (22:22) was sixth, as Sullivan’s Addison Templen (22:23) was seventh. Lila Larson (23:09) rounded out Towanda’s top five with a ninth place finish.

Paige Jordan (23:25) and Addy Thibodeault (23:45) was 10th and 11th for the Griffins, as Emily Guare (29:17) came in 17th.

On the boys’ side Towanda defeated Sullivan (20-35) and NPM (21-34), while the Griffins beat NPM (23-32).

NPM’s Michael Knefley (17:12) edged out Towanda’s Boom Thompson (17:18) for the win, though the Knights took the next four spots with Emmett Klees (17:38), Hagen Jones (18:19), and Phillip Spinney (18:23).

Sullivan’s Calen Sweigert (18:45) and Carter Blasi (18:58) were sixth and seventh.

Chase Preston (19:26), Isaiah Botsford (20:28), and Brayden Fitzgerald (20:29) were ninth through 11th for the Griffins.

Nathaniel Little (20:36) rounded out Towanda’s top five in 12th.

Towanda’s Brayden Cox (9:06) won the boys’ junior high race as fellow Knight Tallie Dzurinko (10:34) won the girls’ junior high race.
