
WYSOX — The Towanda boys golf team picked up a 159-170 win over Wyalusing during NTL 9-hole golf action Monday.
Graham Welles shot 36 to lead Towanda with a birdie on the par-5 ninth hole to go with six pars, while Boom Thompson shot 37 with a birdie on the par-4 first hole. He also had five pars.
Jason Wickwire shot a 42 with three pars, Baylee Clark notched a 44 with two pars, Owen Savercool had a 46 with one par, and Lucas Vincent added a 49 with one par.
Lucas Girven shot a 40 to lead the Rams behind four pars, while Noah Kilmer notched a 41 with a birdie on the par-4 seventh hole. He also had two pars.
Michael Fawcett notched a 43 with two pars, Myles Kershner finished with a 46 with two pars, Aidan Neiley carded a 47 with one par, and Owen Brown finished with a 55 behind one par.
Towanda finishes the NTL season on Thursday at Corey Creek with a 9 a.m. start.
