Northern Tier Sports ReportMANSFIELD — The Troy boys varsity ran past NP-Mansfield, 22-37, during NTL cross-country action Tuesday.
NPM’s Michael Knefly (17:54) won the race with Troy’s RJ Bellinger (18:26) second. Frank Harper (18:35), Mason Wulff (18:57), and Owen Campbell (19:02) rounded out the top five for the Trojans.
Ben Osgood (19:43) was eighth as Troy’s final scoring runner.
In the girls’ race Troy fell 20-35 with NPM’s Jaci Fairchild (23:44) winning the race.
Alyssa Rinebold (27:29) was fifth to lead the Trojans, followed by Kaylynn Keltz (27:51), Sheridan Wilcox (30:17), Charlotte Kafka (34:46), and Sara VanNoy (42:47).
Troy won both junior high races. Kyle Kibbe (9:29) won the for the boys, while Christine Ward (10:33) took the girls’ race.
