Northern Tier Sports ReportATHENS — Wyalusing lost a tough 2-1 match to Athens during NTL girls’ soccer action Tuesday.
All the scoring was done in the second half as Aleta O’Connor scored off a Vayda Rought assist for the Rams.
Abby Burgess and Olivia Thompson had the two Athens goals as Brinley Nichols had an assist.
Athens out shot Wyalusing 11-5 and had a 10-3 edge in corner kicks. Callee Warner finished with 10 saves for the Rams as Annika Lezak had three for the Wildcats.
