On the girls’ side Wyalusing picked up two big wins this week to stay in the NTL Small School title chase. Emily Johns had 12 kills, one block, and two digs in the win over CV, while adding 22 digs, nine kills, three aces, and two assists in the win over Canton to be this week’s Female Athlete of the Week.
For the boys Towanda's Curtis Maynard scored four touchdowns in the win over Canton - three rushing and an interception return - as the Knights picked up their first win of the season. Maynard is the Male Athlete of the Week.
