Northern Tier Sports ReportROME — It took nearly two overtimes but Wyalusing used a pair of penalty kicks to edge NEB, 2-1, during NTL girls’ soccer action Tuesday.
Addisyn Bly scored both penalty kicks for the Rams, getting one in the first half for a 1-0 lead at the break.
Aurelia Kolesar tied it up in the second half off an assist from Mallorie Maynard.
Bly would win the match with a second penalty kick goal in double overtime.
Wyalusing out shot NEB 12-7 while the Panthers had a 7-1 edge in corner kicks.
Panther keeper Leah Beebe made 14 saves while Wyalusing keeper Callee Warner stopped 12 shots.
